Some pretty high profile inserts have hit the card sheet over the last few days, some of which are pretty highly sought after. Here are some of my thoughts.
SR Shelby Miller / Michael Wacha Dual Sig
Collectability: Extreme
Playability: N/A
Man, I love these cards. I think they are really cool looking and have retained most of their value in the past. This is the first time we have seen both players from the same team, which is cool, and even better that they are both pretty good players. I hope we get a ton more of these in the future, even though they dont get double points.
SR Jose Abreu Signature Series
Collectability: Extreme
Playability: 
Even though Abreu is on the shelf with an Ankle injury, this was a great choice for the White Sox’s sig for the year. Not only has he put up ridiculous numbers, but he has also become one of the more popular rookies of the year.
SR Prince Fielder Signature Series
Collectability: Extreme
Playability: NONE (out for season)
Prince has gotten some attention lately, and it probably has more to do with his relationship with the company than his play on the field. Fielder wasnt exactly raking before his season ending announcement to have neck surgery, but I know that he is someone that has a good relationship with Topps from promotions they have done with him in the past. Not exactly a great choice for the Rangers, but it easily could have been a lot worse. 200 copies at least makes this a huge chase.
SR Ted Williams HOF Heroes Chrome Sig
Collectability: Extreme
Playability: N/A
What a great looking card for a really cool set. Although Pokemon reward cards like this dont have the same value as pack pulled inserts, this one could buck that trend. This sig is both a hugely popular player and he plays for a hugely popular team. Lots of people will want this sig, and rightfully so. I hope more Chrome cards come to the game in the future.
SR Bowman Diamond Cards
Collectability: Strong+
Playability:
This is probably one of my favorite insert sets of the year so far, as the cards look amazing. Although Goldy is easily the most collectable, I think the cards themselves are worthy of chasing solely because of the way they look. I have asked for Superfractors to come to Bunt, but this is the next best thing. To make them only available for VIPs was disappointing for many users, but only adds to their value.
