One of the biggest improvements to 2014 Bunt over 2013 was the use of the base design from 2014 Topps Series One as the design for all the cards. Because so many of the bunt players are not card collectors, they may not have known that the game cards mirror the real cards.

Yesterday we got a preview of the 2015 Topps Series One design, which will likely end up playing a large part of next year’s game. I think its worth posting it here on the site for everyone to see as it looks considerably different than this year’s clean bordered design.

We also got to see some of the other inserts, which if trends continue, will also be subject to inclusion in the game as well. With more and more of the real cards infiltrating the checklist with each passing week, its likely that the solicitation of the new product will provide a deeper look into what may be coming to the app.

Personally I am a big fan of the retro style presentation, especially in the fact that the borders arent necessarily clean white. Its going to be interesting how they are transformed to be used for game fucntion, but there shouldnt be much of a problem.
