Well, the 12 days of Huddle are sadly done, and that means its back to one sig per week, give or take. Although we had a BIG bang to finish out the series, as a hardcore sig chaser, I am still sad this is over. Here are my thoughts on my favorite and less favorite releases from the two weeks.
Marshawn Lynch Parallax Signature Series

Verdict:

Value: Nicest
Count: 25
This is about as difficult a sig as there is to come by in the game, save the Yellow Manning boost sig. The odds are close to impossible, but the card is amazing. Parallax makes the card that much more cool, and the 8x boost for a player that has so few big boosts is a big deal.
Day 1 – Teddy Bridgewater

Verdict: Abstain
Value: Nice
Count: 200
Teddy has a lot of fans as the top rookie QB this year, playing for a popular team. He isnt the best one you can chase down, but he was an awesome start to the set.
Day 2 – Odell Beckham Jr

Verdict:

Value: Nicer
Count: 150
Odell is one of the hottest players around, and a lot of people want this sig as a result. Arguably the top candidate for ROY.
Day 3 – Antonio Brown

Verdict:

Value: Nicer
Count: 100
Brown is quickly becoming one of the better receivers in the game, and being in the playoffs really helped this card’s value.
Day 4 – Demaryius Thomas

Verdict:

Value: Nicer
Count: 100
Thomas is a big play receiver that has the benefit of a playoff push. Manning has been playing like reindeer poop lately, but that will fix itself, trust me.
Day 5 – Jeremy Maclin

Verdict:

Value: Nice
Count: 200
This was a bit of a surprise to see another Eagles player get a sig after BOTH Sanchez and McCoy got the treatment recently. He is a good player, and scores a lot, but the Eagles are watching from the couch this post season. I would have liked Dez instead.
Day 6 – Ben Roethlisberger

Verdict:

Value: Nice
Count: 200
To have two Steelers in this set is a bit of a disappointment, but at least this is a playoff team. Im not going to complain too much.
Day 7 – JJ Watt

Verdict:

Value: Naughty
Count: 250
Here is the reason for my rating, regardless of MVP consideration he deserves. Watt already has a signature series card as the reward from the first few weeks. Although this is a different design, I think we need more variety. This card also counts towards the main sig set, which makes it a bit more of a disappointment.
Day 8 – Jamaal Charles

Verdict:

Value: Nicer
Count: 150
I think Dez and Charles were the two players that the community really wanted to see, and this was a good add to the set. I like this choice a lot.
Day 9 – Mario Williams

Verdict:
Value: Naughty
Count: 250
I know Mario has had a really nice season, but lets be honest here, I think that there are big reasons why this is a bit of dud. Bills fans and defense fans will disagree, but im standing firm here. Sammy Watkins (one of the most grossly underrepresented players in the game) would have been a lot better.
Day 10 – Drew Brees

Verdict:

Value: Nicer
Count: 200
Great choice on this one, as Brees is a very popular player. He hasnt had a windfall season like in the past, but he maintains his status regardless. Saints may be terrible but Brees is nice.
Day 11 – Elvis Dumervil/strong>

Verdict:
Value: Naughty
Count: 250
Although I get not every one can be offense, Dumervil has the least name recognition of anyone in this set. I would have loved Clay Matthews or someone like that. Defense is already devalued, but Dumervil, despite his great season, is not a guy I would have done.
Day 12 – Matt Ryan

Verdict:

Value: Nice
Count: 200
I like Matt Ryan. I do. He doesnt get the credit he deserves for the regular season he usually puts together because of his abysmal playoff runs. This is a good one.
TBD – Holiday Triple Sig
EST COUNT: ~75
With how much it took to complete this set, the triple sig better be EPIC. Im not sure how they are going to follow up Manning/Rodgers/Brady, but I hope its an amazing combo.
Calvin Johnson Candy Cane Boost

Count: 12k+
Value: Nice
This is a really nice card that the gift turned into. I like the 6.5x boost, and I like the player choice. The issue is the price tag people are putting on this card. It is NOT worth a Sage and it is likely NOT worth much in terms of its card count. The boost makes it valuable. Offering it against higher boosts will get you BLOCKED, but you should be able to pick up a few inserts for it if you find the right person.
