Throwdown Primer 12/1 – Breakdown of Tonight’s Game Boosts!

Its Thursday, which means another Throwdown is ready for our consumption. Although this isnt shaping up to be the best game of the season, it is one worth watching with the Dolphins knee deep in a playoff chase for a wild card in the AFC east.

Here is a breakdown of how the game boosts may give you that extra spike for your team during the matchup tonight.

Mike Wallace – MIA 7x

I think Wallace has been a bit sorry he decided to sign with the Dolphins after being a featured player in Pittsburgh. He has had his moments, but he isnt the same player he was a few years ago. The Jets have a good defense, but a speedy guy like Wallace may give them a ton of trouble. I would say he could end up having a pretty nice game.

Verdict: Worth Picking Up

Lamar Miller – MIA 7x

When the Broncos signed Knowshon Moreno, I dont think many people expected Lamar Miller to have the season he has had so far. However, he has been potent in both the running and receiving facets of the Dolphins offense, and has performed well above expectations. The Jets front line is about as good as there is in the league, but they have definitely had a drop off after DOMINATING last year.

Verdict: Worth Picking Up

Eric Decker – NYJ 7x

I liked Decker a lot in Denver, and he has really been the ONLY part of the Jets offense that has been worth ANYTHING. He has been banged up week to week, and that has hampered his season so far. Now, Brent Grimes is one of the best corners in the league this year, and its clear that the Jets need a big game out of Decker. We will see who comes out on top.

Verdict: Worth Picking Up

Geno Smith – NYJ 7x

Jets QBs havent exactly been amazing for the last five or six years, and its becoming more and more clear with Sanchez having more success in Philly that it might be the system and coaching rather than the players. Geno has had his issues and then some, and that’s a bigger problem than anything to be honest. Be careful leaving Geno in the lineup tonight as he could be prone to some picks against a tough Dolphins secondary.

Verdict: Low Priority

Honorable Mentions

Ryan Tannehill: I think that his success this year has been a bit of a surprise, but we will see how he does down the stretch.

Cameron Wake: The Jets’ offensive line has been bad. That means a feast for a guy like Wake.
